Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows

Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, is the name of a band that is called "D.R.U.G.S".
They are an American band that is post hard core and they started in 2010. They only have one album
And it is a self titled album. (I have not really listened to them all that much. Other then a couple of songs that I really did like listening to they are not that bad in my opinion).

The self titled album was released on November 11th, 2010. The first song from that album was If You Think This Song is About You, It Probably Is. Then they also have another song called Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm. Then the song Sex Life. Sex Life was the first single from there album.  Then they have another song called My Swagger Has a First Name. (There really is not much on this band because they are so new as of only last year. They only have one album. But they really are good for the first album).

Band Members:
  • Craig Owens- lead vocals
  • Matt Good- vocals, lead guitar, keyboards, synthesizers, programming
  • Nick Martin- vocals, rhythm guitar
  • Adam Russell- bass
  • Aaron Stern- drums, percussion.

Simple plan

Simple Plan is from Montreal Quebec. They are a Canadian pop punk band.
They started in 1999 and still making music into today.
The album No Pads, No Helmets...Just balls was started in 2002. The singles from that album are:
  • I'm just a Kid
  • Id Do Anything
  • Addicted
  • Perfect
The album was released in the US with twelve songs and it ended with perfect, (I have that album and i absolutely love the songs on the album). They played more then three hundred shows and topped the alternative new artist chart. Then played in a sold out tour in Japan. In 2003 they played in the Vans Warped Tour. They also opened up for Avril Lavigne on her "Try To Shut Me Up" tour.  The album sold one million copies in 2003 then later to four million worldwide.

Still Not Getting Any was there second album and the singles were :
  • Welcome to My Life
  • Shut Up
  • How Could This Happen To me
  • Crazy
  • Perfect World
This album showed the dramatic change in Simple Plans music style. They had downbeat music along with upbeat music on that album. (I think that they have both on every album that they do anyway).
Most of their songs are about the teen years and how they can be hard and awkward sometimes or the fact that it really is hard to be a teen sometimes. They also had an album called Simple Plan and The hit single from that one is When I'm Gone.

Get Your Heart On was there latest album starting in 2009 till now. They released it on June 21st, 2011.
Singles from the new album are:

  • Jet Lag
  • You Suck at Love
  • Loser of the Year

Hollywood Undead

Hollywood Undead is from Los Angeles, California. They have two Albums one of them being Swan Songm, released on September second, 2008. There new album is American Tragedy, realeased April, fifth, 2011, (which i can not stop listening to this album. It is simply amazing). They also have a live CD/DVD called Desperate Measures, which was realeased on November tenth, 2009. (I have not seen or heard this CD/DVD).
Hollywood Undead is very unique because they all wear masks most of them are based off of the hockey goalie; they are colorful and very different.

The Album Swan Songs only took a year to work on. They eneded up spending two years trying to find someone who would publish their album with out it being censored, because even though I think they are amazing, most people think that they should be censored. That album reached number 22 on the Billboard 200 within the first week that it was released. They sold 21,000 copies of the album.

American Tragedy was their second album and the band even made their own iheartradio station. Comin' In Hot was the first song released off of the album it was avaiable to download on January eleventh, 2011. This album was more successful then Swan Songs. They sold 70,000 copies in one week! In the short ammount of time that it has been out it already reached number four on the Billboard 200. Along with number two on other  charts and number one on the Billboards Top Hard Rock albums chart.

The Click Five

The Click Five is a "power pop band" from Boston Massachusetts.  They started on January first, 2003.
The band caught the attention of a scout, Wayne Sharp, he had worked with another group called "Candy".
Their first recording were two songs, as a demo, in the start of 2004, after their local tour. They released an album called "Greeting from Imrie House" in 2005. The vocals at the start of their career ended up leaving them, and was replaced by Kyle Patrick who went on to their second album, "Modern Minds and Pastimes" in 2007. Then their third album TCV was released in Asia in 2010 then to other places around the world in 2011. "Greeting from Imrie House" that album brought much success to the group and it sold 350,000 copies in the U.S and then it was in 15th place on the Billboard 200 chart, as soon as it came out almost.
That album turned out to be the year's highest charting debut from a new rock band, then they created a music video from the song, "Just the Girl" in the summer of 2005. That song was number nine on the MTV "Total Request Live", it was the number one most downloaded song on iTunes for over two weeks, then it went platinum by the RIAA as a digital Single. [I think over all that was their most successful album, it was very well put together and i like a lot of the songs from that album.]
All Albums are:
  • Greetings from Imrie House-2005
  • Modern Minds and Pastimes-2007
  • TCV-2010

American Hi-Fi

American Hi-Fi is a pop/punk band, that is from Los Angeles, California.
American Hi-Fi and Miley Cyrus are close, they share three quarters of the same band members.

Their self-titled album BMX Girl, but known as The Art of Losing was released on February 27th, 2001. [This is my favorite album from them, and my favorite song from them is "Flavor of the Weak", which also is as song from this album.]
This album ended up reaching number 81 on The Billboard 200 list and number one on the Heatseekers list.
The hit song from that album was "Flavor of the Weak" and it made the Hot Modern Rock Tracks along with the Billboard Hot 100, among many other charts. Singles from that album are:
  • Flavor of the Weak
  • The Art of Losing
  • The Breakup Song
Hearts on Parade was released in Japan on July 14th 2004. In 2005 they were signed by "Maverick Records". That helped hem promote the single, "The Geeks Get the Girls".
Almost a year into it and the fans started to complain that the album was too much of pop music so then Maverick dropped them around autumn of 2005, for poor record sales.
Then around winter of 2005 the "Playtone Records" picked them up and started a demo called "The Rescue" that was recorded on the album Hearts on Parade but it was cut, so Playtone Records ended up putting that song back on to the album.  [Nothing much happened with that album, in my opinion I think that it was a total bust.]

Fight the Frequency was started in December of 2006, the band was touring in spring of 2007.  In April of 2007, the band started to record the new album on May 4th, 2007. The band ended up releasing two tracks on their MySpace, "Keep It Like a Secret" and "A Taste for Crime". They released eight demos:
  • Fight the Frequency
  • Frat Chump
  • Acetate
  • Bullet
  • This Is a Low
  • Recover the Stars
  • Lost
  • Where Love Is a Lie
http://www.kruufm.com/node/8526
The record was released finally on August 17th, 2010. The band created their own label "Hi-Fi Killers/The Ascot Club", so they could have more freedom to do what they wanted with their own music and head it into the direction of what they hoped.
Band Members:
  • Stacy Jones- Vocals, guitar, drums
  • Jamie Arentzen- Lead guitar
  • Drew Parsons- Bass and vocals
  • Brian Nolan- Drums
